Character.AI is a roleplay-focused AI platform that enables users to create and interact with a wide variety of characters. While it has a wide range of characters and features, the AI can be inconsistent and sometimes generates inaccurate or out-of-character responses. A lot of features are locked behind paywalls and the NSFW content filters are overzealous.

Frequent server glitches and slowdowns.
Declining quality after switching to ChatGPT models.
Subscription features are not very beneficial.
